Our promise to you is this.  As the new owners of Deer Hunter Tree Stand Company we will continue the longstanding tradition started by Ken Benfield in Hickory North Carolina to produce the highest quality aluminum climber tree stands.  We are moving the manufacturing to the Midwest not the “Far East”.  Our products will be made 100% in the USA with pride by a couple of “Iowa farm boys”.  We have several exciting changes in mind and are looking forward to the future.

One of the things that struck us most on our initial trip to North Carolina was the incredible number of things in the factory that were designed and made from aluminum by Ken Benfield.  Over the 30 years he owned and worked with the company he was constantly “improving” his work environment.  He brought this same enthusiasm to the design of his climber tree stands.  Creating what we feel are the safest, lightest weight and longest lasting aluminum tree stands on the market today.  In an effort to honor his hard work and dedication we are renaming our climbing stands as Ken’s Originals.
